THE god concept of present human society is based on Myths
and Puranas.
What is puráńa? It is that branch of literature in which
all compositions are fictive and have an important educative value. The sage
Vyása Deva composed eighteen puráńas for the sole purpose of mass education.
He depicts various stories about different gods and goddesses. But as the
stories are not true he felt some remorse in his mind after writing them.
Deeply saddened, he apologized to Parama Puruśa;
Rupaḿ rúpavivarjj itasya bhavato’yaddhyánena kalpitaḿ
Stutyá’nirvacaniiyatá’khiloguro dúriikrtá yanmayá,
Vyápitvaḿcr nirákrtaḿ bhagavato yattiirtha yátrádiná,
Kśantavyaḿ jagadiisho tadvikalatá dośatrayaḿ matkrtam.
Stutyá’nirvacaniiyatá’khiloguro dúriikrtá yanmayá,
Vyápitvaḿcr nirákrtaḿ bhagavato yattiirtha yátrádiná,
Kśantavyaḿ jagadiisho tadvikalatá dośatrayaḿ matkrtam.
“Oh, Parama Puruśa, you have no form and
yet I have depicted the various goddesses in various forms. I have described
ten-armed gods, four-armed gods and so on. My sole intention was to educate the
common people but in that endeavour, oh formless Lord, I have tried to limit
You to the bondage of form. This is my first mistake. My second mistake is that
even though You are beyond all qualities indeed, all qualities are under your
control – I have composed many eulogies and hymns extolling Your various
qualities, but that has only belittled Your greatness. My third mistake is that
even though You are omnipresent, I have said that God acted in a certain way
during a certain pilgrimage. I have confined You to a specific place. This is
an error on my part as the whole universe is Your place of pilgrimage. You
exist everywhere, yet I have wrongly tried to limit You to a few places of
pilgrimage. So, oh Lord, I beg Your forgiveness. Please pardon me for having
made these three mistakes in a moment of mental weakness.”
Therefore
all the gods and godesses are imaginary product of the authors of the puranas. The motive or
intension of the authors are to cultivate the devotional sentiment and the
moralily among the people. Because the morality is the basement to build
devotion. Without morality devotion is a mockery. People follow the puranas
only not the scriptures.
But
the scriptures insist the GURU concept.
It says guru is Brahma, Guru is vishnu
and Guru is Maheshvar. Guru is not an imaginary product of the author.
Guru is real. The Guru is capable of liberating the human beings under the
bondage of the temporary word. Guru guides the devotee to his/her permanent
abode. Guru teaches the technics to break the shakles of maya(worldly illusions). Therefore ideating
on Guru, faith on guru, worshiping guru is the real path of happiness. Guru
only teaches how to win the past samskar(good and bad deeds of past).
When
the creator takes birth on this earth, He plays two roles. One is the role of
guru to the devotees and the second is to anhillate the adharma and establish dharma on this earth so that the
living beings on this earth will live confort with minimum necessity and
maximum utilisation.
There
are so many gurus on this earth. But the one who gets the creator of this
universe as guru is really blessed. So
When you get the creator of this universe himself as the GURU don’t miss the
opportunity to attain Him. This is the ultimate goal of humans. Ideate on Him, worship Him, sing His
name. Your life on this earth will be success. The success is sure guarantee.
In
devotion there are three types. 1. Ta’msik devotion, 2. Ra’jasik
devotion,3.Sa’tvik devotion.
Tamsik
devotion: Asking the god to ruin or trouble the enemies.
Ra’sasik
devotion: Asking favours for the self.
Sa’tvik
devotion: In sa’tvik devotion, two types
are there. 1. Ra’ganuga devotion:Thinking of god, ideating on god and singing
the glory of god. Because the devotee
feel joy in such pursuits.
The
second one is Ra’ga’tmika devotion: Here the devotee wants to fullfil the
desire of God and wants to give happiness to god instead of getting happiness.
Guru
is your Brahma, Guru is your Vishnu, Guru is your Maheshvar and Guru is your
Parama’ Brahma. The character of human
mind is, what it thinks so it becomes. If you keep on thinking of Brahma you
become Brahma. This is the concept of Meditation.
Be
a Ra’ga’tmika devotee and be a successful being on this earth.
………………….will
continue, namaskar.
